  • Ground-up state-of-the-art central control facility at NLR’s Flatirons Campus and Wind Facility, supporting conference spaces, electronics labs, a data center, and office areas for campus-wide research operations 
  • 360 Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing design, integrating systems to meet energy, maintenance, and code requirements while complementing modern architectural design 
  • Mechanical system solution: first Variable Refrigerant Flow (VFR) system on Flatirons Campus, including packaged heat pump Dedicated Outdoor Air Unit (DOAS) with a heat recovery wheel for energy-efficient preconditioning and zoned fan coil ventilation 
  • Design optimization: modeled systems in Revit to maximize floor space, resolve plenum and constructability challenges 
  • Integration and aesthetics: balanced exposed and concealed mechanical/plumbing systems to achieve a visually appealing, high-performance research facility
