Denver Police Department Station 5

  • 25,000 SF police station including offices, holding cells, vehicle processing, and a 3,000 SF public engagement space with warming kitchen, community room, and lobby 
  • 360 Engineering designed mechanical and plumbing systems for diverse occupancies, ensuring operational continuity of the adjacent 911 Call Center during construction 
  • Mechanical systems were designed to maintain pressurization and air separation between public and officer areas to prevent contamination using purge fans and an appropriately sized restroom exhaust 
  • Plumbing fixtures and air devices for the institutional spaces were required to be ligature-free  
  • Sustainability and efficiency: to support a LEED Gold goal, Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) were integrated along with high-efficiency heating water systems and low-flow water fixtures to reduce energy and water use while maintaining safety and functionality
