  • 34,275 SF new recreation center and indoor aquatics facility, featuring gymnasium, fitness spaces, climbing wall, locker rooms, natatorium, child-watch area, and offices 
  • 360 Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering design, coordinating across diverse program and occupancy types 
  • Mechanical systems solution: mixed system approach, including single-zone Variable Air Volume (VAV) rooftop units for gym and fitness areas, natatorium air-handling unit with energy recovery and dehumidification, corrosion-resistant fans for pool chemical storage, energy recovery unit for the locker rooms, fan-powered and shut-off VAV boxes fed by rooftop units serve the remainder of the spaces 
  • System integration: varied ductwork strategies—aluminum, PVC, lined, and exposed spiral—selected to address humidity, corrosion, acoustics, and architectural intent 
  • Air quality and efficiency: close coordination with the pool designer to implement deck-level exhaust for improved natatorium air quality, along with high volume, low speed fans in the large open areas for destratification, comfort, and reduced energy use
